Summary: All-on-4 uses four implants to support a fixed, non-removable full-arch bridge. At Newlife Dental, it starts from S$25,000 before GST.Cost is mainly driven by the implant system, prosthesis material (acrylic vs zirconia), number of arches, and whether bone augmentation is needed.MediSave may cover part of the surgical cost, but not the bridge itself, and eligibility must be confirmed at consultation."Teeth in a day" refers to a provisional bridge fitted on the day of surgery for suitable candidates, not a guaranteed outcome for everyone.All-on-4 sits above conventional dentures and implant-supported overdentures in both cost and stability, but the right choice depends on your own bone health and goals. Losing most or all of your teeth changes more than your smile, it affects how you eat and speak. All-on-4 is one way to get a full, fixed set of teeth back, but the price tag often isn't clear until it’s broken down. This guide walks through what drives the cost of all-on-4 dental implants in Singapore and how it compares with other options, so you know what to expect before starting treatment. The Quick Answer: What Is All-on-4 and Why Does It Cost What It Does? All-on-4 replaces a whole arch of teeth at once, not just one, and the price reflects that scale. How All-on-4 Works Four implants are placed to support a full arch of replacement teeth: two straight at the front, and two angled further back to make the most of your available bone.A fixed bridge then attaches to all four, giving you a complete arch that isn't removed day to day. Why It Costs More Than a Single Implant The price covers four implants, four abutments, a full-arch bridge, surgery, anaesthesia, Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), and your follow-up review appointments. It's simply a bigger job than replacing just one tooth, and the cost reflects that. A Note From Dr Aaron Hoo What Drives the Cost of All-on-4 Implant Treatment in Singapore? At Newlife Dental Practice in Singapore, all-on-4 dental implant treatment starts from S$25,000 (before GST).The final cost can vary depending on your individual treatment needs, as several key factors influence the overall price. The Implant System Used Different implant brands carry different costs. At Newlife Dental Practice, we use the copaSKY titanium implant system. For patients with limited posterior bone height, the ultra-short option (5.2mm) may reduce the need for bone augmentation, which would otherwise add cost and time.Because these implants are shorter, they can often be placed directly into the available bone without the added step, cost, and healing time of a graft, although suitability still depends on your CBCT scan and clinical assessment. For upper jaw cases where the sinus cavity limits the usable bone, we also apply our Sinus Stability Protocol, a framework developed by Dr Aron and the subject of a forthcoming book. Prosthesis Material If immediate loading is suitable for you, a provisional bridge (typically acrylic) is placed on the day of surgery. For the final all on 4 bridge, acrylic costs less, while zirconia costs more but tends to be more durable and natural-looking. Number of Arches Treated Whether you need the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both treated changes the cost accordingly, since each arch is effectively its own full-arch procedure. Whether Bone Augmentation Is Required Not everyone has quite enough bone to work with straight away. When that's the case, a bone graft or sinus lift may be needed first, which adds to both the cost and the overall timeline. CBCT Scan and Diagnostics You'll need specialist 3D imaging so your dentist can plan the surgery properly. This isn't an optional extra, it's how your treatment gets planned safely around your own jaw structure.Wondering what your own case would actually cost? At Newlife Dental Practice, we’ll give you an itemised quote based on your bone health, arch, and prosthesis choice. Get in touch to arrange yours. Can MediSave Be Used for All-on-4 in Singapore? MediSave can help with part of the cost, but the rules are specific and worth understanding upfront. What's Generally Claimable? How much you can claim depends on your own procedure and clinical situation, following limits set by MOH.Some published guides put the surgical MediSave withdrawal limit at up to around S$1,120 per implant, so potentially up to S$4,480 across four implants, plus any day surgery facility fees on top. The bridge and prosthesis itself aren't covered. Why You Should Confirm This at Consultation These limits are set by MOH and get reviewed from time to time, so it's worth checking the exact figure that applies to you rather than taking this guide as the final word. You can check the official CPF withdrawal limits for the latest published figures. You don't need to figure out MediSave eligibility on your own. Speak to our team and we'll check exactly what applies to your case. The All-on-4 Treatment Process: Step by Step Here's roughly how treatment unfolds from your first visit to your final bridge. From Consultation to Provisional Bridge Treatment starts with a consultation and CBCT scan, followed by treatment planning, often using computer-guided surgical planning.Any remaining teeth that need to come out are removed first, either in stages over a few visits or on the same day as surgery, before the four implants are placed. Same-Day Teeth: What "Teeth in a Day" Actually Means For suitable candidates, a provisional bridge can be fitted on the same day as surgery, which is what people usually mean by "teeth in a day" or "same day teeth".This is available for suitable patients once your dentist has assessed you, rather than something every patient can count on, since outcomes depend on how strong and stable your bone is at the time of surgery. Healing and the Final Bridge After osseointegration, the healing period when the implants bond with your jawbone, the final bridge is fitted, replacing the provisional one. Book an appointment Frequently Asked Questions How much does All-on-4 cost in Singapore? At Newlife Dental Practice, All-on-4 starts from S$25,000 before GST, though your exact cost depends on the prosthesis material, number of arches, and whether bone augmentation is needed. Is All-on-4 covered by MediSave in Singapore? Part of the surgical cost may be covered by MediSave, though this depends on MOH's rules and your own clinical situation. The bridge itself isn't covered. Your dentist can confirm your eligibility and the amount at consultation. How long does an All-on-4 restoration last? With proper care, the implants themselves can last many years, though survival tends to run slightly lower for the upper jaw than the lower jaw, and the bridge on top may need maintenance or eventual replacement over time. Is the All-on-4 procedure painful? The procedure is carried out under anaesthesia, and most patients report manageable discomfort afterwards rather than sharp pain. Your dentist will discuss pain management as part of your treatment plan. How is All-on-4 different from traditional full dentures? Traditional dentures sit on the gums without implant support and can slip or feel unstable. All-on-4 is anchored to four implants and fixed in place, so it doesn't move the way conventional dentures can. Can I get All-on-4 if I have significant bone loss? Ultra-short implants and a treatment plan tailored to your case can open up All-on-4 as an option for some patients with bone loss, but this needs a proper assessment first. Not everyone with bone loss will be suitable, and your dentist can only confirm this after examining you. What Is Recovery Like After All-on-4 Surgery? Most patients experience some swelling, bruising, and mild-to-moderate discomfort for the first few days, which is usually manageable with prescribed pain relief. A soft food diet is generally recommended for the first few weeks while the implants begin to integrate with the jawbone, with many people returning to normal activities within one to two weeks, although this varies by individual. What Are the Risks of All-on-4 Dental Implants? As with any surgical procedure, there are risks, including infection, implant failure, or nerve involvement in rare cases. Your dentist will review your medical history and CBCT scan beforehand to assess these risks for your specific case, and will discuss how they're minimised as part of your treatment plan. What Are the Alternatives to All-on-4? Depending on your bone health, budget, and goals, alternatives may include implant-supported overdentures, conventional dentures, or single-tooth implants if only a few teeth need replacing. The comparison above outlines how these options generally differ, and your dentist can help you weigh them against All-on-4 for your situation. Still Have Questions? Book a Consultation Today!
