Dental bonding is a procedure in which an aesthetic, tooth-coloured composite resin is applied to your teeth, sculpted and hardened with a special light. The material is then scaled and polished, and the final product is a repaired and restored tooth that looks very natural.
Dental bonding can be used in a variety of applications, such as repairing cracked or damaged teeth, restoring cavities and replacing silver amalgam fillings. It is also used to help protect portions of a tooth that have been exposed due to gum disease.
